A basic collar with d ring. Has lasted from 8-week sprocker puppy and is now at its limit at 6 months of age, showing little sign of wear and tear. It has been on the beach and washed over and over with no issues. It doesn’t seem to bother my dog, he’s happy with it.

As a side note, we use the collar for occasional attaching to lead, but mostly it is used purely for the ID tag to hang off. Any long walks with lead attached are with a harness.

I have two dogs. Before I tried the collars my dogs suffered from fleas for 8 months out of the year. These collars are amazing. Within a few days of putting these on, the fleas were gone. One dog, in particular, had all sorts of bumps and sores on her skin. She suffered something terrible. Now, with this collar, her skin is clear and she is a different dog altogether. I know some people have had bad experiences with these collars, and I feel for them.

This seems to be working wonderfully for my chihuahua! She doesn’t seem to experience any discomfort wearing the collar and fleas are avoiding her at all costs! She seems comfy and I haven’t seen any scratching since I put it on her. It’s a nicely designed collar, durable and easy to find the correct fit. Definitely worth its price, plus the perk of getting an extra is great. There was a slight citronella scent that faded fast and it never phased my pup..So far so good! Also, for those concerned with the corner print that reads “For dogs above 18lbs” on some of small dog tins- I reached out and received confirmation that this is a misprint with one of their batches and the collars are indeed suited for small dogs/puppies. This collar seems to do the trick. Had it for about a month now. I run with my pup on heavily wooded trails in FL quite often. Luckily, I always check him for ticks right afterwards. This time of year seems to bring in a ton of ticks and since I?ve had the collar I have still found them on him…but they are unable to burrow into his skin. Sometimes I may miss one sneaking around and not catch it until a few hours later, but it seems the collar is working well to prevent the ticks from locking on to my pup. Don?t typically write reviews, but wanted to share in hopes of others benefiting from it.

The product was received very quickly so that was a huge plus. The product is just as advertised and has a pleasant smell like citronella. My dog doesn?t mind the band and was very large so if you have a larger breed plenty of room to fit around the neck. My BM/GS could have almost cut in half with the size to have two. Just put it on and have noticed no itching or biting and will monitor in the coming weeks to months. This is my 3d time using this product and think it works great for the price and have not had any issues regarding it. It seems to last around 6 months to repel flees and ticks. I usually replace every 6 months. Have never gone past that time frame so cannot comment on the length it could or would last.

The single issue I’ve had is when I put the collar on as per the instructions, she is guaranteed to lose it – they come off when she’s out in the woods hunting (we learned this the hard way, losing two, which is bloody expensive). My solution here is to use elastic bands and attach the seresto collar to the inside of her regular dog collar. I used to sew it in but realised elastic bands work just as well and are less work. The added bonus having it on the inside of her collar also means kids are less likely to touch it.

If you live somewhere where ticks are a real problem, I highly recommend this collar. It works, and, at this stage, that’s all I care about.

I took my dog to a friends house whose yard was COVERED in fleas. I tried everything to get rid of them and nothing worked. My poor dog was getting chewed up and they were started to get me too. I gave her numerous baths with dawn and tried the expensive flea drops. Still would find fleas on her a couple of days later. I treated my yard and my house and they were still on her. Finally, a man at Petco recommended the Seresto flea collar. I have always heard flea collars didn’t work and I had already spent a ton of money trying to get rid of the darn fleas and this was a pricier option. However, he informed me that the collar lasts up to 6 months so it’s actually not that bad for a deal for that long of protection. I went ahead and decided to try it because my poor baby was miserable and I was tired of scratching like a crack head. I was amazed at how quick it worked.. by the next day all the fleas were. I did not comb out a single flea. I gave her skin a couple of days to heal before giving her another dawn bath but she didn’t even need it. They wear gone. Her skin healed up and they never game back. It’s been 3 years since I started using it and she hasn’t had a flea problem since. They actually do last up to 6 months. I can’t believe how awesome this collar is. She is a border collie mix and 40 lbs- I get the Large dog collar for her. She is active and swims at the dog park so I was told that if gets wet, the collar does not last as long. I recommend this collar to everyone I know with a flea problem and everyone is blown away at the results.
