This collar seems to do the trick. Had it for about a month now. I run with my pup on heavily wooded trails in FL quite often. Luckily, I always check him for ticks right afterwards. This time of year seems to bring in a ton of ticks and since I?ve had the collar I have still found them on him…but they are unable to burrow into his skin. Sometimes I may miss one sneaking around and not catch it until a few hours later, but it seems the collar is working well to prevent the ticks from locking on to my pup. Don?t typically write reviews, but wanted to share in hopes of others benefiting from it.

The product was received very quickly so that was a huge plus. The product is just as advertised and has a pleasant smell like citronella. My dog doesn?t mind the band and was very large so if you have a larger breed plenty of room to fit around the neck. My BM/GS could have almost cut in half with the size to have two. Just put it on and have noticed no itching or biting and will monitor in the coming weeks to months. This is my 3d time using this product and think it works great for the price and have not had any issues regarding it. It seems to last around 6 months to repel flees and ticks. I usually replace every 6 months. Have never gone past that time frame so cannot comment on the length it could or would last.
Very happy and certainly will purchase again and highly recommend for anyone who doesn?t want the expensive monthly meds and or deal with the cheap chemicals that take days to dry on your dogs fur while possibly getting over your house or items when applied.
